Ranjan Consulting Engineers ( RCE) was incorporated in March’ 2019 with an objective to provide design certification and to undertake design & engineering services with allied design & ASME Code based trainings. The company provides support to develop design capability as well as undertakes design and detail engineering for nuclear steam generators, nuclear reactor core components, pressure components like heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks; design & analysis of various structural assemblies and piping design as per National / International Codes.
The company also undertakes design audit, consultation on quality assurance services, quality audits / surveys as per ASME NQA-1, USNRC’s 10CFR Part 50 App. B, ISO 9001; proposal engineering & tender cost estimation and other miscellaneous technical services like latest trend of design of 3D print parts etc. The business area includes nuclear power plants, process industries and other manufacturing industries globally.
The company is supported by various engineering service providers and auditors to augment resources and necessary infrastructure to meet dynamic business needs.

Bithika Basu, IntPE (India), FIE, is founder of the company with over three and half decades of manufacturing industry experience in two major industries Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., a Defence public sector undertaking and Larsen & Toubro Ltd., a global engineering conglomerate.
She played multifaceted roles in business segments like Defence Aviation and Naval, Nuclear Power and Heat Transfer Equipment and led the project teams of strategic and critical programs. She was associated with varied functional areas like Design & Engineering, Project Management, Proposal Engineering, Tender Cost Estimation, Quality Assurance System Development, Business Process System Development, Vendor Assessment , Quality Audits / Surveys, Internal Training and liaison with stakeholders such as Defence organizations , Nuclear utilities, Process licensors, Inspection agencies, Certifying authorities and major manufacturers. Her experience in product portfolio varies from MiG series fighter aircraft; PHWR and FBR Nuclear Power plant critical equipment like Steam Generators, Reactor components, Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Spent Fuel Storage & Transportation equipment; AIP engineering system for submarines and Heat Exchangers & Pressure vessels for Chemical, Fertilizer and Petrochemical Industries.

As design lead, she steered the conceptualization to development of design capability for Steam Generator of 700 MWe PHWR Nuclear Power Plant and other Nuclear Class 1 equipment . She has rich experience in development of ASME NQA-1 & USNRC’S safety related quality assurance programs as well as ASME N, NPT, NS, NA accreditation.
